HowdyForms: Event Lead Capture Built for the Booth

Today, Lobster Claw Software is launching HowdyForms, a mobile event lead capture app for iOS and Android built for the moments where someone is standing right in front of you and you need a polished way to collect their information.

HowdyForms helps teams build branded forms, run secure kiosk mode, collect visitor info without an account or internet connection, then review every submission, add ratings and notes, organize tags, and export CSV when the event is over.

Made for In-Person Workflows

Not every form needs to start in a browser, a CRM, or a cloud dashboard. Sometimes you are at a trade show booth, an open house, a conference table, a workshop, a volunteer sign-up station, or a local event where the simpler answer is the better one: hand someone a phone or tablet and let them fill out the form.

HowdyForms is built around that workflow. Create the form once, style it for the event, lock the device into a visitor-facing flow, and keep the follow-up list organized on your device until you are ready to export.

One App for the Form, the Kiosk, and the Follow-Up List

HowdyForms includes the pieces teams need before, during, and after an event:

  • Custom form builder. Create event forms with text, email, phone, number, date, dropdown, checkbox, radio, multiline, and rating fields.
  • Secure kiosk mode. Set up a visitor-facing form on a phone or tablet, then use an optional kiosk PIN to keep visitors from exiting the form.
  • Offline capture. Forms, leads, tags, ratings, notes, photos, and backups stay on the device unless you choose to export or share them.
  • Ready-made templates. Start quickly with templates for trade shows, open houses, customer feedback, sign-ins, giveaways, and more.
  • Lead follow-up tools. Review submissions, add ratings and notes, organize tags, search entries, and export CSV for your next follow-up step.
  • Branded presentation. Style each form with colors, fonts, logos, header images, and a thank-you screen with an optional QR code.

Designed for Real Event Days

Event days are busy. Wi-Fi is unreliable. Booth traffic comes in waves. The person filling out the form may have only a minute before moving on.

That is why HowdyForms keeps the capture flow focused. Visitors see the form you prepared for the event. You get the structured information you need. After the event, you can sort through submissions, mark high-priority leads, add context while the conversation is still fresh, and export a CSV through the system share sheet.

Privacy First

HowdyForms does not require an account or cloud sync. Your forms and leads are stored locally on your device and are never sent to Lobster Claw Software.

The app collects anonymous diagnostics and analytics by default to help keep the product reliable, and that can be turned off anytime in Settings. Even when diagnostics are on, your form and lead content is not included.
